We recommend using the Dymo 450 label printer. They can be purchased for under $100 and are very easy to set up and use. They use the standard Dymo address label for printing FBA labels. There are generic labels available when you need to buy more.

Your FBA labels will print out of a new tab in your browser. When testing your printer settings, you the Print Preview by clicking on File and choosing Print Preview. When Print Preview looks right, the label will print correctly.

After your first label, leave this tab open and click back to the main program. You will then be able to print without leaving the main program.

Here is a test label. If your Print Preview looks correct and you can print this on one label, then your settings are correct. NOTE: This is just a test label for size. It will not be scannable.

There are three things to change to get your Dymo 450 to print FBAPower labels.

1. Margins & Header/Footer settings need to be 0.0 and –blank– (explained below).

2. Change Portrait to Landscape.

3. Scale to 80% or 90% (larger the better so long as it fits on one page).

The first time you generate an FBA label in FBAPower, a new tab will open and the print dialog box will pop up.

Click Cancel. Go to File, then Print Preview. It will probably be blank.

If your label is printing blank, you need to change some settings.

Go to your Page Setup by clicking File-> Page Setup or by clicking Page Setup from the top of your Print Preview.

You will see two tabs at the top. Click on Margins & Header/Footer.

All your margins should be 0.0. All your Headers & Footers should be –blank–.

Now your Print Preview will probably look like this:

You need to change two things.

1. Change it from Portrait to Landscape.

2. Under Scale, choose 90% (if 90% doesn’t look right, go to 80%, then back to 90%)

Now your Print Preview should look like this:

When it looks like this, you are good to go. Click Print and your FBA label will print out and you can affix it to your item.

 Printer setup for Zebra printers

We strongly recommend using a Dymo 450 for printing your FBA labels. They can also be printed using a Zebra label printer. Many sellers already have a Zebra so all you would need is to buy 3″x1″ labels. We use a Zebra and we have taken screen shots of our printer settings to help with your setup. If you are unable to get your Zebra to print the labels after following this guide, you should call Zebra support for help with your printer settings.

This is what you want to see. A Print Preview (File -> Print Preview) that shows all on one label.

If showing two labels, Scale to 90% or 80%.

In Page Setup (File -> Page Setup), You can switch between Portrait and Landscape. You may have to swap these if your master printer settings are set one way or the other.

All your margins should be 0.0. All your Headers & Footers should be –blank–.

When you choose Print (File -> Print), you can view your printer’s Properties. Paper size needs to edited. Here you can also switch Portrait and Landscape. If they are swapped here, you may need to swap in your Format & Options.

Below are your master Printer Settings. These are accesses from Start -> Control Panel -> Printers & Faxes ->

RIght Click on your printer -> Select Printing Preferences…
