Leverage FBA status and increase your margins with FBARepricer.

Limited instructions?!

While we don’t plan to throw you overboard without a life jacket, we are very interested in making the repricer easy to use with limited instructions. This means we want your feedback on which features are intuitive and which are not.

How do I get started?

As an FBA seller, you need to know competitive FBA offers in order to properly reprice your FBA items. FBARepricer provides live competitive data for all offers, including FBA (and knows if there are no other FBA offers as well). This information allows you to price your items properly to maximize margin and profits.

Define some rules

FBARepricer works from targeted rules that you choose based on your repricing strategy. When you log in to FBARepricer, click on the Settings link to define some rules. You might want to start with simple rules like “Maximize price within the lowest 5 offers” to see how the service works. From there you can add FBA and category specific rules. See http://fbarepricer.com/rules for explanations of each rule.

Preview rule

To preview how each rule affects the price of an item, open the Preview section in Settings. The 1st item in the grid will be previewed. If you want to preview a specific SKU, go back to the main grid and enter the SKU in the input field. This becomes the preview SKU.

To restrict the Setting page to only the rules that are active, check “Only show my selected rules”.

To show the order in which the rules are executed check “Show Execution Order”.
Sync FBA Inventory

The next step in using the repricer is to synchronize your Amazon FBA inventory with FBAPower. This allows us to reprice only the items for which you have SELLABLE inventory in Amazon’s warehouse. Clicking the Sync FBA Inventory button will schedule the FBA Inventory report and download the results in the background. When complete, we will update the fulfillable quantity in our database. Only your items with sellable inventory will be repriced.

Two ways to reprice…

NOTE: Clicking the Reprice button only calculates the new price. It does NOT send the price feed to Amazon automatically. It is safe to click the Reprice button at any time. If you have items on the screen and you click Reprice it simply re-calculates the prices based on your currently Settings.

You can use the repricer service in two ways:

Interactive

The input field at the top left below the logo works similar to the same field in FBAPower. Enter an MSKU or MSKU prefix (or % to retrieve everything) and press Enter. This will pull matching items from our database that have an FBA sellable quantity > 0. If your inventory is synced with FBAPower, and you have items in an Amazon Fulfillment Center they will appear in the pricing grid.

After saving your rules (Settings), you can click Reprice to see FBARepricer apply the rules. We show 6 items (a screenful) per page. You can page forward and backward via the arrow buttons at the bottom of the grid.

If you want to send your new prices to Amazon for any items with a check mark in the Accept column, click the Send Price Feed button. Wait a few minutes for Amazon to process the request and check Seller Central (or the marketplace) to see the new price for your item. If you make a mistake, you can always send a new price feed to correct it.

Bulk

When you are happy with the current rules, you can apply them to your FBA inventory by checking the Reprice All checkbox, then click the Reprice button. This will run the repricing calculations in the background and write the full details to a CSV (comma separated spreadsheet) file that you can download and review. All columns from the screen are included in the CSV file. Items that FBARepricer reprices according to your rules have a status of RepriceHigher or RepriceLower. Simply sort the file by the appropriate columns (status, sku, change_amt, chang_pct, etc.). When you are ready to feed your price update, make a copy of the CSV. Remove any rows that you do not want to reprice. Then remove all rows except “price” and “sku”. Follow the instructions in Seller Central (here) to upload the price feed.

Repricing a subset of your items

You can reprice certain categories of items by selecting Settings->Reprice these categories:.

You can also limit the repricer to certain SKUs and SKU prefixes by selecting Settings->Exclude these items: (SKU prefix or other SKU identifier).

Manually Set Prices

FBARepricer calculates prices based on the FBA Net price (price + shipping). FBA Net prices are shown for items in all Amazon categories.

FBARepricer lets you set the new price manually by providing a pricing dialog just like the one in FBAPower. Click the cell in the row for the “Original Price” column to open the price dialog. Select the new price to or enter a price in the input field.
We want your feedback

We are looking for feedback on ways to make the service easier to use and more efficient for repricing your inventory.

First and foremost we want to know if you find bugs. It’s most helpful if you “replay” your actions that led to the error in addition to copying the error text.

We also want to make FBARepricer fit your needs as a seller. For some, this means a custom rule or more control over placement and prices. Let us know the rules you can’t live without. We’ll do our best to implement rules that add value for everyone. For example, Tom C. wants a rule that says “Never reprice my New Books below x.xx”.
