At FBAScout, we know that in addition to having access to proper pricing information, speed is vital to successful scouting. We have several systems in place to provide you with the best pricing data while keeping you moving fast. FBAScout has the ability to show you the five lowest FBA offers for every item on Amazon. Compiling this information for items that have a high number of offers (typically books) can take a few seconds longer. For this reason, we give you the option to turn FBA offers ON or OFF. When you have ‘Show FBA Offers: ON’, FBAScout will go to great lengths to give you FBA prices for an item. You will see the item details and five lowest used prices immediately. This information is often enough to determine if the item has the potential to be a winner. Items with very high numbers of offers (most often books) typically have too many FBA sellers who have driven the price down to a not-worth-your-time level. Train yourself to recognize these types of items so that you don’t waste time scouting items that are not profitable. When you have ‘Show FBA Offers: OFF’, FBAScout will will only bring back the product details and the five lowest New prices and the five lowest Used prices. Depending on the item, you may also see some FBA offers. While having FBA offers turned off will provide faster results, you will not be aware of competitive FBA offers. When you scan a book that has a high number of offers (such as this one with 2439!), it may take a little longer to return the full pricing picture that includes FBA offers. |
