Step 3. Sign up for Amazon's Marketplace Web Service Go here and sign up for MWS: https://developer.amazonservices.com/ BE SURE TO SIGN UP WITH THE SAME EMAIL YOU USE FOR YOUR AMAZON SELLER ACCOUNT
Click on 'Sign up for MWS'. BE SURE TO SIGN UP WITH THE SAME EMAIL YOU USE FOR YOUR AMAZON SELLER ACCOUNT
You will then come to a page that looks like this:
A: Choose the SECOND OPTION: 'I want to use an application to access my Amazon seller account with MWS.' B: Enter FBAPower as the Application Name. C: Enter 6771-7968-3933 for the Application's Developer Account Number. Once you have done A, B, and C, click Next. You will come to a screen that looks like this:
Check both boxes and then click Next. Success! You will see the following page:
The number shown here with the 3 is your Merchant ID. This isn't a secret number; it will be embedded in your Amazon store URL. The number shown here with the 4 is your Marketplace ID, which is the US Amazon marketplace. You can print this page for your referrence, or save it as an HTML file, or copy and paste the numbers into Word or Notepad.
